About Annie Collins
Annie first ventured into art in May 2024 after a visit to Uluru, where she was inspired by local Indigenous artists’ intricate paintings. She found art served as a therapeutic outlet for managing her ADHD, and later, it became a source of healing for dealing with the loss of a loved one. Now Annie can’t wait to return to her art at the end of each day, as it continues to bring her joy and release from life’s everyday stresses.
Annie believes art is accessible to everyone who is prepared to let go of their inhibitions and focus on the pleasure of practice, rather than producing perfect pieces. As imperfect souls, we make imperfect, unique pieces from the heart. What we create is perfect for us.
